John Braswell is known for his imaginative storytelling and insightful alternative history books. He is the author of ”Coop”, whose storyline ponders the thought, ‘What if the South had won the Civil War?’ This new work of fiction has been called ‘original and fast moving’ with a surprise ending. Braswell imagines a post war climate where, among other things, the North makes tobacco illegal and creates opportunities for smuggling, and there are only two classes of people, the very rich and the very poor.
